How It Started

Komado was founded in Ottawa, Ontario with a focus on energy audits, inspections, and efficiency-driven solutions. Our early work centered around understanding how buildings operate, where energy is wasted, and how systems can be optimized safely and effectively.

That foundation quickly led into hands-on technical work — from low-voltage wiring and structured cabling to smart automation systems and network infrastructure.

Expanding Into Automation & Security

As client needs grew, Komado expanded into network and automation services. This includes security camera systems, access control, firewalls, structured networking, and integrated automation solutions.

Our approach has always been practical and transparent — systems are designed to be reliable, secure, and easy to maintain, not overcomplicated or locked behind unnecessary layers.

Why Hosting & Colocation

Hosting and infrastructure services were a natural next step. Many of the systems we deploy rely on servers, networking, and reliable uptime. Rather than outsourcing critical infrastructure, Komado began building and managing it directly.

We are currently starting small — operating with a limited server deployment and focusing on light game hosting, internal services, and controlled workloads. As demand grows, our infrastructure will scale alongside it.
